Lied to and left to hang out and dry!

I called Comcast because my monthly bill kept increasing each month.  The agent I spoke with (a young lady whose name I do not remember) told me it was because my package for Sho and HBO was expiring and the charges for the premium channels were escalating. She assured me if I signed a new two-year contract with telephone usage the cost would come down significantly. I explained that I used my cell and did not want a home phone.  She said I didn't have to use the service but by getting the package I would benefit because I would get the two premium channels at a discounted rate.  After again telling her I would not use the phone service she told me that was fine. I also told her I wanted the CIN network and she told me it would be includeed in my package. She told me "dont pay your current bill as we wil issue a new one based on the new contract and it will lower the amount".  Everything she told me turned out to be outright lies. I called later after installing the new wifi modem I was sent and talked to another agent.  She told me that yes, I would get HBO and SHO on this contract but ONLY for 3 months! The other agent led me to believe it was for the duration of the two year contract.  She never mentioned anything about a 3 month limit. So I asked about the CIN network which I'm still not getting and was told it's part of a Sports Package and didn't come with my package. Then I received the bill and the charges for the last bill were EXACTLY the same! I called and spoke to another agent (whose name and badge number i have) and he said there was really nothing they could do exccept send me some coupons.  And he promised to escalate the problem.  I am furious that I am lied to and then be told nothing could be done about it!!  I could not believe it.  This makes the Dish network look very appealing.  How does a company allow it's agents to tell outright fabrications and then let it stand? It's been surreal trying to accomplish anything with Comcast/Xfinity.  I am saddened and frustrated because Ive been a loyal customer for many years and that means nothing to this company.
