Ordered online - enrolled in autopay because it said no deposit and no credit check, but I was charged a deposit and getting the run around

I ordered Comcast online. During the ordering process I selected to enrol in automatic payments because it said there would be no deposit or credit check. I get my first bill (ecobill, online) and it shows a $100 deposit adjustment. I get on chat and the rep would not listen to me, he kept saying that new customers always had to pay a deposit. I called the customer service number and was "accidentally" disconnected after receiving the same explanation. I called back and the rep kept saying autopay and ecobill only got me a discount on the service. I called back the next day and their billing program was down and recording suggested calling back later. I called back today and the rep told me I had to pay a deposit. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She put me on hold, then came back and said she had to make a ticket. I was put on hold again. When she came back I was told they would call back in 10-15 minutes. That was an hour ago (I guess that is more polite than hanging up on me, like the first rep did).

All these reps kept saying the deposit would be paid back to me in 6 or 12 months (they didn't seem sure which). None of them could point out where the policy that said new customers had to pay a deposit was. The only thing I could find was:

A. Credit check and/or deposit is required for new customers (and customers with less than six (6) months of payment history) who lease more valuable Comcast equipment or request Comcast Digital Voice services with a new phone number.

I am using my own modem and router. I have no Comcast equipment. I don't have voice services. Besides, when I signed up it said I wouldn't have a credit check or deposit.

I have a screenshot of the enrollment where it says that if you enroll in automatic monthly payments you will not have a credit check or deposit.

My bill is not due until 5/9. I will not pay the deposit, I will cancel my service if it is not waived.
